2. Scope and legal basis

This policy explains how Safety Strategy processes personal data when you visit this website, make contact, subscribe to the newsletter or buy a product. Personal data is processed in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

3. Website hosting and server logs

This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages by Cloudflare, Inc., USA, and delivered through Cloudflare's global network. When you visit the site, the host automatically processes and records technical data (such as IP address, date and time, page requested and browser type) in server logs. This is necessary to deliver, operate and secure the website (for example, to protect against attacks). Cloudflare processes this data under its own privacy policy.

4. Cookies, analytics and fonts

This website does not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics. Fonts are served from this website's own server, so no data is sent to font providers.

5. Contact by email

If you contact me by email, the data you provide (such as your name, email address, company and message) is processed solely to answer your enquiry and for related follow-up. Your data is not sold. Please do not send patient-identifiable or confidential case information.

6. Newsletter

If you subscribe to the newsletter, your email address is processed to send you the newsletter (PV insights and news about education materials). The newsletter is sent using MailerLite, a service of UAB MailerLite, Lithuania (EU), which stores and processes the data on behalf of Safety Strategy. Subscription uses a double opt-in: you will receive an email asking you to confirm your subscription, and you are only added once you confirm. MailerLite also records technical data related to sign-up and confirmation (such as the time and IP address) and may record whether newsletter emails are opened or links are clicked. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link in every email or by writing to info@safety-strategy.com. Your email address is kept until you unsubscribe.

7. Online shop

Purchases of digital products are processed by Gumroad, Inc., USA, which acts as merchant of record and processes payment and billing data under its own privacy policy (gumroad.com/privacy). Safety Strategy receives the information needed to deliver your product and provide support (such as name, email and order details). Invoices and receipts are issued by Gumroad and show the seller's legal name.

8. Disclosure and transfers abroad

Personal data is shared only with service providers that help operate this website and the business: Cloudflare, Inc. (website hosting, USA), Gumroad, Inc. (online store, USA), UAB MailerLite (newsletter, Lithuania, EU) and Google (Google Workspace, for email). These providers may process data outside Switzerland and the EEA, in particular in the USA. Where data is transferred to a country without an adequate level of data protection, appropriate safeguards are relied on, such as the Swiss-US or EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

9. Retention

Personal data is kept only as long as necessary for the purposes described or as required by law (for example, 10 years for accounting records under Swiss law). Newsletter subscriber data is kept until you unsubscribe.

10. Your rights

You have the right to request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, to object to processing and, where applicable, to data portability. To exercise your rights, write to info@safety-strategy.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, in the EU, your local supervisory authority.
